Art Therapy at FWC
Having many years of experience as an art therapist, I have the opportunity to provide you with the unique tools needed for each moment in your life. Whether art be used when words are too hard to speak, or as a means of relaxation and self-expression, art can be used as much, or as little as you like.
Whatever works best for you is what we will do!
Elisa Hershey and Zeus
I am an art therapist and LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor) and have been working in the mental health and addiction world for over 20 years. I have had the pleasure of joining forces with children from the age of 3, to the age of 87, and am open to working with anyone who wants to make a change in their lives.
I come from a family that has a long line of veterans and first responders and have a strong passion for supporting and giving back to these individuals.
Zeus is my 3rd dog to be used for animal assisted therapy. He is an American Pitbull Terrier and turned 3yrs old in May 2026. Zeus's nickname is "wigglebutt" from wiggling so hard when he sees his friends.
At Freedom Wellness Center LLC, we will take a comprehensive approach to wellness that considers all aspects of your life, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, and more. We will work to develop a personalized plan that fits your unique needs and lifestyle.
Whether you want to focus on using talk therapy or art therapy, we will work together to create a healthy lifestyle that will allow you the happiness you deserve.
I welcome any in person sessions as I am very much an empath and thrive when I can feel each person’s emotions in person.
If you prefer remaining in your home and meeting online, we can meet that need as well. It's always fun for me to "see" people in their natural environments!
